| New fireplace One of our major activities of this year was to have a metal fireplace made, to transport it to our place and set it up. It needed the force of nine strong men to carry it the "last mile" through the woods. We had to prepare its foundations and lay an pipe to supply the fire with fresh outside air. Next year we will continue to build a dry masonry structure around the unit. next >> |
